About the event
This is a beginner class, we will begin with a yoga-based warm-up and progress to resistance-training exercises using your own bodyweight as well as resistance bands.Â
Resistance training helps promote muscle growth and improve metabolism and bone health/density. Â This class will increase your strength and confidence in performing these exercises at home or in the gym and are a great addition to your yoga practice. We will focus on muscle activation and basic movements like glute bridges, lunges, squats, and shoulder mobility. Modifications will be provided for most exercises. Â
Booking: Register through the regular schedule, this is billed as a standard class. Â
